Confession of an Accidental Ditch-Hopper
For the second time in six months, I find myself back in New Zealand. I've been here a week, in actual fact. Life hasn't been overly gentle to the women in my family of late, and I figured I needed to get over here for a month to spare my family more crap and collect whatever bad mojo that's been allotted to me. Hiring a car, cooking meals and trying to be useful seemed like good ideas too.It hasn't been easy, my superheroes. I've experienced a lot. Two nights ago, I held the hand of someone I care a lot about and watched as she died. An experience like that marks one. It isn't necessarily conducive to creating immediate and humourous blog posts.
I'll write more when I'm ready to share all the funny bits.
